SWGeotechnology is a geotechnical consulting firm specializing in applying geophysical techniques to civil engineering problems. We take responsibility for unusual projects in civil, geologic and geotechnical engineering. Our Offices are located in Houston & Dallas, Texas & Northridge, California in the United States as well as Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Our team is lead by Dr. Derek V. Morris who is our Senior Consulting Engineer and is based in North America but with activities worldwide. Dr. Morris specializes in Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Dynamics, Offshore Engineering, and Earthquake Engineering. Dr. Morris is experienced in earth science, civil engineering services, as well as consultations for builders, owners, and developers.
